Tracy is a high school student who dreams of appearing on an extremely popular TV program. She is ideal for both dance and fashion, but she is really fat. She catches the eye of the host of the program, and her appearance on the show is decided. However, she gets in trouble with the mother of her rival.
I watched this movie and was made to think about discrimination against African-Americans in America. Probably there is no discrimination against African-Americans in Japan, and there are few opportunities for us to learn about it. So I’m glad to be able to know about this with music only a little. I thought that the Japanese should respect people of all races and live freely without minding the color of the skin. There is much bullying because of looks recently in Japan. Confidence disappears in one’s self image because of the bullying and news of suicide doesn’t die out. I think that it is important that people love themselves. This movie can tell us that the world doesn't change even if I mind the public eye. This movie tells me to have confidence in myself.
